A fun weekend for the whole family! The Capitola Art & Wine Festival combines Art, Wine, Music and Food, all in charming Capitola Village overlooking the Monterey Bay. Summer’s last hurrah, and truly a weekend in paradise!
Stroll the Festival and admire the talent of over 160 fine artists while sipping exceptional wines from 22 Santa Cruz Mountain wineries. Visit the Local Artisans Marketplace filled with locally handmade crafts and artisanal foods. The Food Court offers a wide range of tantalizing options including Bill the Oysterman, Falafel of Santa Cruz, Happy Dog Hot Dogs, India Gourmet, Souza’s Rice Bowls, and Holopono and Saucey’z food trucks. The Kids Art & Music Area offers ongoing craft projects and musical play featuring Musical Me. Enjoy fantastic entertainment all weekend, including local dance and performing arts groups, street performers, and live music.

Wineries
Enjoy wine tasting from a variety of Santa Cruz Mountain wineries and delicious gourmet food from local restaurants and caterers.
Experience fine art and intricate crafts and meet the talented artists whose works you admire. Listen to great music and all the while you’re just steps from the beach. This is truly a weekend in paradise!
*Wine tasting requires a purchase of 2019 Festival Glass and Tasting Tokens.
2019 Glass: $12. Tokens: $1 each. Wine tasting: 2 – 4 tokens per tasting.
NO PET POLICY
Because of the large volume of human traffic at the Capitola Art & Wine Festival, we ask that you not bring your pets with you.
Parking & Shuttle Service
Ride the free shuttle from the Capitola Mall (handicap accessible). Take Highway 1 to the 41st Avenue exit, head south on 41st Avenue to the Capitola Mall. Park next to Bank of America and shuttle to the Festival. 41st Avenue shuttle drops off right at the entrance to the Festival at Stockton Avenue and Esplanade. Shuttles run approximately every 20 minutes. Saturday, September 14: 9:30AM to 8:00PM and Sunday, September 15: 9:30AM to 7PM.
Memorial weekend through mid-September, the City of Capitola offers a free beach shuttle from the Beach and Village Parking Lots located behind City Hall at 420 Capitola Avenue. Parking Lots can be accessed from Capitola Avenue, Bay Avenue and Monterey Avenue. Free shuttle operates 10AM - 8PM and drops off in Capitola Village. Parking costs $0.50 an hour with no time limit. The pay stations accept cash, debit cards and credit cards. Meters run from 8AM to 8PM.

The Capitola Art & Wine Festival is a juried show
of original fine art open to artists of all mediums to apply.
Applications will be available for 2019 beginning Feb 1, and must be received by May 1, 2019 to enter the jury process.
